At JA of San Diego, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
Through a unique and generous partnership with The Grand Golf Club, we have an exciting opportunity for you to golf at an exclusive course AND support JA at the same time! Friends of JA San Diego are able to purchase an individual package for $350 which includes 18 holes of golf with a caddie, golf cart, access to the practice range and a $20 voucher at the Grill.

JA for Everyone is a personal budgeting simulation designed to help participants understand the link between lifestyle, education, career, and the management of personal finances in an interactive environment. JA for Everyone at JA Finance Park encourages participants to explore what it takes to balance a budget and manage a life in sunny San Diego and beyond. Participants ages 12 and older participate in this virtual adult life simulation, where they learn to budget, save, and spend for themselves and their virtual families. This program will be available for you to complete virtually until December 13, 2020.

17 student teams from 5 high schools presented their companies in a "Shark Tank" style competition in an effort to be named "San Diego Student Company of the Year." Junior Achievement's Company Program Competition was an evening of celebration and inspiration, presented by OtterCares Foundation.
Using state-of-the-art technology in a simulated trading environment, high schools students, college students and adults will experience the fast-paced, high-stakes thrill of the stock exchange. Each team begins with $500,000 in fictitious funds and interacts with on-site traders to buy and sell shares in 26 companies with the goal of building the highest-net worth portfolio by the end of the trading period. All money raised for the event will support JA's life-changing programs.
