These virtual workshops series are a web-based, experiential financial literacy course that empowers participants to build a critical understanding of how to build their future financial success through lessons on income, personal budgeting, investing, and credit. Available in five or eight session programs, each 60-minute video conferencing session is led by JA staff members often teaching alongside community volunteers who add real world expertise and experience to the content. Students also gain access to JourneysMap, a high-tech career-path building resource which will be available from the time of their JA classes to their career and beyond. The program culminates with the JA Finance Park virtual simulation which tests students’ ability to apply what they have learned in a simulated world of budgeting as a young adult.
