JA Ambassador Program with the YMCA of East County

Event Description:

The JA Ambassador program is a 10-session program that provides foundational knowledge of the local economy, personal finances, career pathways, and work-readiness. In concert with San Diego business leaders, JA’s Ambassador program creates a platform for participants to gain the necessary skills to thrive in San Diego’s economy. 

Program Details:

East County Fall Cohort Dates:

  •  October 27th – January 19th (No meetings on November 24th, December 22nd, or December 29th
  • 10-session program with workshops in Career Readiness, Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy
  • Sessions will take place on Thursdays
  • Session Time: 4:00-6:00pm

Student Incentives:

  • Ambassadors have the opportunity to earn up to $200 to invest back into their future, thanks to a partnership with Mission Fed Credit Union.
