Stock Market Challenge Virtual Workshop

Ready to learn the benefits and challenges of investing in the stock market, risks and rewards of trading and long-term investment strategies? In an interactive environment, learn the basics of investing for your future success, and put your skills to test at the JA Stock Market Challenge! 

Join fellow high schoolers for this 4-week virtual workshop to gain foundational knowledge of:

  • How the stock market works
  • Benefits and challenges of investing in the stock market
  • Strategic and multiple investment opportunities that lead to financial success
  • Compete against high school students from all over SD County in the virtual JA San Diego Stock Market Challenge Competition on March 9, 2021

Zoom sessions will take place twice a week:

  • Tuesday February 16th, 3:30pm-5:00pm
  • Thursday February 18th, 3:30pm-5:00pm
  • Tuesday February 23rd, 3:30pm-5:00pm
  • Thursday February 25th, 3:30pm-5:00pm
  • Tuesday March 2nd, 3:30pm-4:30pm
  • Thursday March 4th, 3:30pm-4:30pm
  • The optional virtual competition will take place on Tuesday March 9th, 11:00am-12:30pm, where you will compete alongside high school students from across the county in a fast-paced mock stock market simulation to build the largest mock portfolio and become the Stock Market Challenge champion!
